I've been a manager in this business all my life, so I would say I know bad work, or unqualified people fairly well when I encounter them. These guys surely know what they're doing and if they can't find your issues at first blush, they will stay on it until they do find it, Mike is the consummate knowledgeable person to listen to your issues, I never worry when I bring any of my cars there. I know they'll be cared for. When you have an educated tech working on your car or truck, it feels a lot better knowing you won't be charged for him looking for issues and not knowing what to look for. That just cost you (THE CUSTOMER) more money and time without your car. Great people!

Weird noise Fixed! I drive a 2011 Chevy HHR. For being almost 15 years old, it is in pretty good shape and generally in near excellent working order. So, when I started hearing a creaking noise coming from under the driver's seat whenever I stopped and whenever I started up again from stopping, I began worrying about the suspension and undercarriage, etc. So, I set an appointment with J&C Auto because I know they are fair and honest with repairs and pricing, as I have been relying on their expertise now for more than a year when I trusted them with fixing a leak from my transmission: apparently I'd hit something on the road that opened a leak in the tranny's oil pan and J&C replaced the pan and the gasket. So anyway, the creaking sounds ended up being a lack of lube on the ball joints. They greased the joints, sent me on my way and didn't charge me anything... because they are fair!

Outstanding service! I was referred to J & C Auto Service by Midas. My vehicle had reached a milestone and needed a new timing belt. When I called, I spoke with Mike. He was extremely patient, helpful and detailed with the diagnosis. The day before my vehicle appointment, I received a courtesy reminder call from a very sweet lady. The day of the appointment, everything went smooth. Mike had already told me that it typically takes a day, but to plan for two. Based off this, I was able to be proactive and plan my day accordingly. Throughout the process I received updates and estimate for the work. I truly appreciate the work by J & C Auto. 175k Honda Pilot needing a little attention. Obviously when you lend vehicles to your kids, things happen. The Pilot came home suffering from squeaking brakes and a front end shimmy. J&C to the rescue! My wife's car wouldn't start after fueling up at Mariano's on 63rd Street. I called Mike. He offered to have a tow truck come out to either jumpstart the car or tow it to the shop. The tow truck driver was able to jumpstart the car and my wife was able to drive it to the shop. Mike took it from there and had the battery replaced and got the car back on the road. We have had all of our cars worked on for the past 30 plus years at J&C. Quality people.

Older Van Finds Comfort. Mike and his crew were able give our older Ford conversion van some comfort in its old age by giving it the care, attention, and time it needed. They saw it's older body, it's rusty edges and found the problem within a few days, and fixed her up quick so she'd be on the road to grand adventures again. Her (Big Betty) fuel pump was bad and they fixed it within a few days of notifying us of issue- parts. We appreciated the upfront estimate, the communication and explanations of "what's wrong", and the clean state they returned our Betty.

I have a wheelchair accessible van that I always took to the conversion company for service. I had an issue with the A/C and they wanted to charge me almost $3K to fix it. Mike fixed it for under $200. I recently had an issue with the exhaust and Mike found a custom muffler that they were able to use and took care of all the services I needed to catch up on since I just went over 60,000 miles. I trust J&C to do a good job at a reasonable price. I never feel like they're trying to run up the bill.

Same Day Service short notice! Hi All, Honestly, I am not one to leave reviews about businesses in general as I rarely get exceedingly great customer service urging me to do so, but that has changed. This past month being a 2017 Alfa Romeo Guilia Ti owner has been miserable in trying to find an auto service shop that would help me avoid paying dealership prices. Most common response being, "Nope, we don't touch those" and getting hung up on with no further explanation. But when I called J&C Auto Service, and told them of my situation with my vehicle, they did not hesitate to come to the rescue. Today I dropped my vehicle off a week early (on accident) and they still took me in and had me on my way that same day. I feel as though I am treated like a VIP every time I go and I am sure they treat all of their customers that way. If you have any issues with your car - they will do everything they can to find problem & prior to fixing will call and advise of situation & estimated cost. Above & Beyond : Amazing Customer Service. A battery problem caused my vehicle to be non-operational. J&C arranged for my car to be towed to their shop, verified the battery problem, arranged for a warranty replacement because they had procured & installed that battery originally, changed the oil. It was my first time using this shop for any work. My car had two deep scratches/dents I wanted cover, one of them has already rusted. I had to leave my car in the shop for three days to make sure all paint has dried. When I got to pick it up, everything looked amazing. You can't even tell there were any scratches at all.
